Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to administer the content of your web site with simple point-and-click actions. Right-click shortcut menus allow fast access to different file management options, whereas handy drag & drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your PC in an instant. You will also find built-in file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to zip and uncompress files easily too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag & drop functionality will permit you to easily move files between your PC and the web server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your computer and then drag it over to your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your PC. Also, you can download files and even folders to your computer by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a new file or folder with just one mouse click. All action buttons are handily positioned above the file/folder list and you can update your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, preview the contents of a file or change its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager user interface, you will be able to compress and unzip all types of files. It does work incredibly fast - simply select the files you wish to make an archive of and press the Compress button. You can even select the archive format (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you really do not need any external software tools to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to view the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact show up online. Also, you will find several in-built file editors, which will grant you complete authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more competent individuals, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all source code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy individuals.
